How Social Media is Destroying Society
Living Without Social Media
Case Study - Sam Harris Drops Out
We promote connection to the ground of being (i.e., the awareness that underlies the content of experience aka "atman"). Some forms of social media engagement are far removed from the ground of being into a rabbit hole of maya
At ANR we encourage cognizance of how certain forms of social media engagement may be detrimental to mindfulness and well-being, and suggest "dropping out" from these harmful uses of the platforms. We encourage artistic and creative uses of social media platforms.
Non-Dual Philosopher Sam Harris describes how "dropping out" from certain harmful uses of social media (in this case his engagement on Twitter) increased his happiness, mindfulness and psychological well-being.
